What is Counselling?

Counselling will help you address the issues that you are facing now. It will generally focus on a specific problem such as the loss of a loved one or a particular crises point in your life.

Maybe you have a decision to make and want to explore the issues around it.

Maybe you lack confidence at work.

Maybe you are recently bereaved or divorced.

Perhaps it's that time of life when the children have left home and you wonder what your purpose is in life?

Are you just tired of the rat race?

Counselling can help you to examine these issues and the way you are feeling.

As a counsellor I can help you to understand and use your own in-built strengths to move on to a better place.

Counselling is normally - but not always - short term. We would form a contract between us and agree to work for an initial 6 weeks and then re-assess your situation.

It is possible to change and grow.
