Psychotherapy is generally longer term then counselling.
It may involve exploring your present experiences and issues and finding any links with past events and feelings. In this you will be able to understand more about the essential you, and the way you interact with other people.

As a Psychotherapist I can work with you to enable you to break free from unwelcome emotional and behavioural patterns.
I know that people can change and grow, and lead more fulfilling lives.
We will agree a contract to work towards a specific goal. We will continually assess our progress to make sure that you are OK about where we are with the work.
Psychotherapy can be difficult for some people as it involves looking at deep rooted issues and it can be painful in the short term, but very beneficial in the longer term.
